Praise to God for His Awesome Works

Sing out the honour of His name; make His praise glorious.  Say to God, "How awesome are Your works through the greatness of Your power.  Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.  Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men.

He turned the sea into dry land; they went through the river on foot.

There we will rejoice in Him.  Oh, bless our God, you peoples!

And make the voice of His praise to be heard.

Second Reading
GALATIANS 4:4-7

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.  And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, "Abba, Father!"

Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

LUKE 2:16-21

And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger.  Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which as told them concerning this Child.  And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds.  But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.  Then the shepherds retruned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them. And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the child, His name was called JESUS, the name given by the angel before He was concerived in the womb.

Catechism class holidays started on 19th Nov 2011 and resume on 7th Jan 2012.

Today Renewal of Marital Vows for all married couples. 

22nd February, 2012 Wednesday,  Ash Wednesday is a day of penance of the whole Church of Roman Rite, to be marked by fasting and abstinence from the eating of meat (cf. P. 27)

There will be a Marriage Preparation Weekend for all those who intend to get married.
